Duties and responsibilities.
· Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
· Responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy in order to achieve the target.
· Implementing sales programs by developing field sales and action plans.
· Working on the sales numbers and analyzing them to find weaknesses in the system, cost-saving opportunities, and redundancies.
· Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
· Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
· Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
· Determining annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
· Implementing and controlling sales commission system.
· Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to the CEO.
