Purpose of Classification:
The marketing manager manages the
day to day marketing activities of the organization and long term marketing
strategy for the company.
This position reports to the General
Manager and follow his guidance.
The Department consists of Marketing
staff including the marketing manager and a marketing coordinator.
The marketing manager has to
supervise the team and proceeds on own initiative with little guidance making
decisions affecting work unit such as deviations from or exceptions to policy.
and implement effective marketing plans that lead all film programs to meet or
exceed annual revenue goals and fulfill strategic initiatives
awareness and visibility of brand and programs
new cinema audiences and build audience loyalty
the cinema brand, voice, and visual identity through the implementation of
marketing assets (including print collateral, email, paid advertising, social
media, website, signage, etc.)
all creative executions for the brand including advertising (digital, print,
outdoor, radio) and public-facing communications (web, email, social media,
direct mail, flyers, onsite posters, signage, etc.)
responsibility for effective in-house displays, ensuring films and events are
well publicized and that third party advertising is appropriately and tidily
that on-screen marketing (trailers and internal and external advertising) is
current, relevant and as directed.
up effective marketing relationships in the community to promote the cinema in
general and club & group screenings in particular.
positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans for all
cinema initiatives and programs
closely with cinema Tram members to maintain uniform strategy and execution
develop, and execute the social media content strategies to increase reach,
sales, and engagement across multiple platforms
on budget and maximize ROI; maintain accurate and updated marketing budget.
spending and spend mix decisions in consultation with the team to analyze
effectiveness/ROI of marketing efforts.
regular sales reports against marketing plans to demonstrate return on investment
against activities, key findings, learning and recommendations.
and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new concepts, business
models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader.
weekly communication with Cinemas staff for accurate messaging for new-release
films (show times, event information, pricing, etc.) across all platforms
with teams to schedule and staff cinema events as needed.
any other duties which may be reasonably requested of you by the Company for
the effective functioning of the cinema and to maximize its business.
