The Lead HR for Qatar is a key role to supporting the Regional Senior HR Managers to implement and execute the people initiatives across different Business Units in country. You will be based in Qatar and act as a strategic and visible partner to the business leaders, driving their people strategy to deliver the business objectives.
You will provide expertise for the full scope of the HR function including employee onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, reward, talent management, talent development and organizational design and change. You will own and manage the annual cycles of talent review, performance management, pay review, headcount planning and employee surveys for Qatar.
As a member of the regional HR team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your expertise to deliver our business objectives for Qatar across our entire portfolio.
How you will do it
As a Lead HR you will be using your expertise as a HR generalist to implement the HR strategies for Qatar, you’ll advice and support management in preparing future manpower plans, counsel the team on development plans & career paths and arrange L&D sessions whenever required. You will lead the On-boarding program for the region, prepare various weekly/monthly HR dashboards, metrics and balance scorecard which will help to analyze the development gaps and support the management in creating strategies to meet the organizational goals for the region. You will provide support on any local concerns ensuring the management team are following the policies, process and tools as required.
You will also be supporting the region by leading the Safety Council in Qatar, executing all mandatory Corporate and Regional Health & Safety programs and initiatives. You will be required to carry out onsite inspections of staff accommodation at least 3 times a quarter and provide any recommendations for improvements and highlight any concerns. You will be a focal point of contact for all the external HR agencies, law firms, insurance providers, etc.

* Bachelor degree in HR or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Generalist role, solid experience across workforce planning, performance management, talent development and employee relations & engagement
* Experience in working for HVAC Equipment and Controls Industry / IT Industry / Manufacturing Industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in MS office
* Fluent language skills in English
* Ability to travel
* Experience in people management role for GCC region
* Fluent language skills in Arabic
