Camp Maintenance Supervisor Job in Eastern Province – AYTB – Al-Yusur Townsend and Bottom Company

1. Basic Function
Supervises and coordinates activities of craft workers inn Company owned or leased camps engaged in maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and modification of buildings, physical plant and utility services such as power generation, electrical lines, water, sewage and air conditioning units. Other systems include water treatment, communication and TV antenna. Maintains records and recommends equipment purchases.
2. Work Performed
a) Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Maintenance Department of the Housing and Services Division. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by management for the position.
b) Schedules daily work assignments from maintenance request slips submitted by camp residents according to emergency and routine matters. Supervisor may set priorities especially of major projects.
c) Schedules routine maintenance according to equipment manuals for items such as air conditioning, kitchen, water treatment, laundry and power generation equipment.
d) Supervises the maintenance and shift operation of Camp 1 diesel power generation plant capable of 600 KW output. Ensures supply of fuel and spare parts.
e) Supervises the maintenance of camp swimming pools and auxiliary equipment. Monitors and tests the purity of water, adds chemicals as required, cleans filters, bottom and sides of pools.
f) Schedules work to minimize interference with camp residents. Recommends tools, equipment and supplies for purchase.
g) Inspects work in progress and completed work to insure conformance to specifications. Reports deficiencies to supervisor and reinspects as necessary.
h) Carries out other similar or related duties such as keeping abreast of latest building and plant maintenance procedures, observing good housekeeping, safety and fire regulations in work areas. Keeps records, prepares reports and new maintenance procedures. Instructs and trains new employees.
