The successful candidate should have managed multiple supermarkets both existing and through opening. You must have a proven track record with an established supermarket within the Middle East.
Butchers/Meat cutters & Fishmongers
Receive, inspect, and store meat/fish upon delivery
Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat/fish
Weigh, wrap, and display cuts of meat/fish
Cut or prepare meats/fish to specification or customer’s orders
Store meats/fish in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature
Keep inventory of meat/fish sales and order meat/fish supplies
Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
cut and trim meat/fish from larger, wholesale portions into steaks, chops, roasts, and other cuts.
Prepare meat/fish for sale by performing various duties, such as weighing meat / fish, wrapping it, and putting it out for display.
Ensuring and managing standard food hygiene.
Giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products, cooking and uses
Maintaining appropriate stock order levels, rotation and freshness of stock, product quality and turnover to maximize sales and minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks.
Ensuring accurate billing and pricing
Knowledge and skills in carrying out standandard temperature and frozen system for meats and fish
